Women's Mother's Winter Woolen Coat

I liked the quality and cut of the coat. It met my expectations but I first ordered a large size but it turned out to be too large overall. Then I ordered a US Medium size and it fit me perfectly. But on closer inspection I found out that the coat was without its spare button. Moreover the coat is a bit too heavy

First I’ll say that I’m 5’9, 220 lbs, size 40C cup and 20 weeks pregnant…not my ideal size at the moment but this coat still looks amazing, albeit a little hard to button at the moment. I purchased the red wine color. It fits perfectly through the shoulders and not at all too tight. It’s a great length, coming down to my knees. It feels very well made. The buttons are slightly loose but I’ve found that to be the case with nearly every coat I’ve owned. A quick visit to the dry cleaners to tighten the button will solve that in no time.The only unexpected thing is that the color is a bit lighter than pictured. It’s more of an “Oklahoma Sooners” maroon than the deep vampy color in the advertised photos. However, I still really love the berry richness of the color, and the fit is so great that I’ll be keeping the coat. It’s slightly slimming at the waist vs. being completely straight all the way down, and I love that. I’ll also be ordering in camel and black! I just hope the camel is a true camel and not too orange-y.This is a fabulous buy! Don’t pass it up if you’re in the market for a new coat.

I was very, very nervous about buying this coat. I shopped other stores and looked and tried on their coats. They ranged from $150.00 to $250.00 on sale. I really did not find one that said, buy me and take me home. So back to Amazon. I checked out the rating for Aprsfn and it looked good. I am very picky about my clothes and how I look. Past purchases are usually Macy's or Nordstroms and I just purchased a dress at Bloomingdales (on sale of course). My nickname is Vogue so I do have a good eye for fashion. I was all ready to send this back if it did not meet my standards but it did. I was surprised at how good it looks for the price. It needs a good steaming so that should bring it up to par. I wasn't expecting a $300.00 dollar coat because you get what you pay for. This coat will do the trick. It runs true to size so if you want room to put bulkie sweaters under it size up a size. The color is really good a true camel, the buttons are nice and pockets lay flat and hit just right. I am size large, 160 pounds, 5 ft. 6' and the large was a perfect fit. I have broad shoulder and long arms and everything fit just right. I am not using this coat on a daily basis so I think it will wear fine. The lining is nice but a bit wrinkled. The coat came in a timely manner and was packed very well in a plastic garment bag. The only real wrinkles our on the bottom and they should come out fairly easy. All and All I am pleased with my purchase. I did find another coat on sale at Ann Taylors for $76.00 and waiting to compare quality when it arrives. Both coats are a good deal and that makes it much more fun to shop. Good luck with your purchase.

Pros: The rich brown color and flattering fit are exactly what I wanted. The quality is impressive, and it provides plenty of warmth for winter. Definitely a keeper.Cons: The fabric is a bit on the stiff side, and the collar doesn’t lie flat completely.

This is a really cute coat. I ordered the purple color and it’s just as vibrant and pretty as it looks in the pictures. The fit is perfect on me. For reference I am 5’5” 118lbs measurements 32-26-38. I ordered the XS and it fits well. I like the style of the coat, you can button all four buttons and have a higher neck or you can button just the bottom two and leave the collar more open. It also has a tie waist belt. The inside of the coat is fully lined and the craftsmanship is well done. The thickness of the outer material is lighter and feels slightly less durable then my more expensive dress coats in the $200 price range. The coat doesn’t have as many reinforced seams or pleating that enhances the shape of the coat like a more expensive variety has. It’s a basic dress coat but for the low price I think it’s a great buy. Especially if your buying one of the striking colors for casual use, not everyday wear.
